I wish ours could go, but they're automatic disqualified, or DQ for short. With the exception of 1, and that's the middle child. The oldest cannot go, because he is insulin dependent diabetic, the 19 year old has had heart surgery, plus, he has a heart condition, the 8 year old is severely allergic to peanuts, eggs, and strawberries, and that makes him automatically disqualified, because he quits breathing. Not sure what our daughter will do yet, and my wife and I discussed it prior to our daughter being born. My wife asked me, "Are you going to let our daughter follow in her daddy's footsteps and be a Marine". Knowingly, it's a catch 22 question. Still pondering on that thought about our daughter wanting to be a Marine.

Ugh. You're right, I'm sure you see it from both points of view. It will happen as it's meant to happen.

We have a brand new 2014 Freightliner and it had a sensor go out it was in the shop for 3 days went 50 miles and had to turn around because it wasn't fixed sat for another 3 days.

Does anyone have a truck with DEF ? First time for us and every now and then we get this charcoal burning smell and almost a cat urine smell is that normal?

    Cmbreen,
My guesses: charcoal smell is your exhaust periodically burning off the ash. DEF is basically ureic acid so the smell of piss is easily explained.
    Cheers

I carry the scars on my body as a daily reminder on what I have been through. Although, I am grateful I had the opportunity to serve my country proudly. The things I have seen would give people nightmares for the rest of their life, and my wife was on here. She would tell you about the horror she has witnessed, and the scars on my body, and the slight hearing damage I have from a roadside bomb that went off and fragments went into my ear canal. I could literally write a book about my life and it would sell big time, because it's real life experience that actually took place. I always tell my wife, I am a survivor, the hero is the one that gave his life for this country that we deeply love.
