Got load going to Milwaukee,WI giving us 3400 for the week

 

2180 took off on Tuesday .
day and half at house on the way + 925 layover.

Too much driving.

I'm headed over to Minneapolis.

Third chance at a reset foiled.in a week ..... they said to deliver at 1400.....nope they go home at 1400!

Deliver xt 0730 in am and reload at same dock for La Porte TX for Monday

 

1 breakdown this week. I was in Florence, Kentucky just right under the bridge at exit 181, and I heard the shotgun noise. Looked in my driver side mirror and the tire blew at the moment. Went to exit 182, and I did a flip coming back to the TA. The mud flap bracket was bent in half, plus the mud flap needed to be replaced due to the blown recap tire on the left rear inside trailer tire. I got over 2,600 miles in a 5-day span. There are benefits to this week, I did see a brief moment the truck got up to 81 mph, and then realize I needed to slow before I get caught by DOT.

 

Anyone know of a good cheap hotel off I-10 west of Baton Rouge LA

Going to La Porte TX with a good 24 hours extra , thinking Orange TX by the J
