Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Sitting in Joplin,MO kicking our butts for not checking with safety to make sure we got all of safety crap none, thought we had but nope didn't get no safety bonus this time. Also thanks for the recommendation NTAT but next time we'll go down the road, it wasn't that great, some of their food was weird, they had mayo shrimp (fried shrimp with mayo all over it), their octopus was good tho. Our truck runs awesome just got to get a few things fixed on it, gotta find somewhere to get new seats, the guy who had it put racing seats in it and their alil uncomfortable

 

Pacific Rim's not bad but probably better that you could of driven to since you had wheels...

 

Different strokes for different folks. I like it. I find most others don't. I didn't care for pacific rim, but I find most others do, so there ya go Haha. There is also a smaller one north on range line on the left called Golden Dragon I didn't think it was all that, but if you're feeling adventurous.

 

Back home it's the same we have a favorite hole in the wall buffet that we love but others dont and we may have caught them on a bad day too

 

Yeah , I dont like that mayo chicken either.....but its a cheap $ buffet off the shuttle route

 

Last pick up took 3.5 hours for 175 cases..... so 2 stops ($70) and 110 miles today

1125 to Greensboro NC..... trying for Friday pm drop.....

 

Well my 5 day home time turned into like 20 days home time.(assist to shop) I know....I was like ah hell naw they made too much money off me xD

Bet I got some killer fuelopp idle points that I'll never use...

St cloud Minnesota is all I could do. Only had one spot open....these slackers need to get up and get a move on.

Freezing rain through Wisconsin not too bad.
Chicago some cop sitting on the other side of the 294 divider flashed on his blues as I went by at an easy 63 ....oh shut up.... what you gonna do drive through that barrier .... ???

 

Pretty heavy rain down 57 to MO. Ran my 8 down to 2 minutes. It stopped pouring down here at the 57/55 split. First break I've had from down pour.

Edit: Huge temperature difference from the mini unplanned vacation in GB. 30's to 67 lol

Gonna finish this 30 and head down towards the house and spend Rest of day with the old lady and son.
