Gonna stock up on junk food I really don't need :). My batteries in this poopstar last pretty good. Cooler 12volt, 25 inch TV, and bluray player. All running at same time. Even plug in my laptop without issue.

Been parked with fridge plugged in for 16 hours now with no battery alarm... My previous set of batteries wasn't that old, but they suddenly went from 12+hrs before alarm to 2-3 hours after that week of rain. I asked the shop to check/clean connections, but they dug further & found 1 battery had dropped a cell and wound up replacing them all because the other 3 were no longer putting out the specified CCAs.

But the cab shocks made the most difference -- this prostar actually rides pretty good! Ready for another 400,000...

    OK, Another rookie question...
Do I send in a RS request about batteries, ask to get routed through JopMo so I can swing by the shop? Just drop in aon a dealer and ask them to check it? Sorry, new guy confused here... LOL!

Call road service and advise them. They will let you know what to do.

I'm going on the board in the morning too. Love a Vancouver trip! Im gonna stay out 4-5 weeks this trip i thnk. I've been getting miles but nothing to brag about. However, after finishing and getting my truck assigned, I highlited and was home for 4 days. I went back out but had to be home about a week and a half later. FM was great working with me and I got where I needed to be. I'm really happy here! I don't ask for much, I don't complain. When I do ask for something, I've gotten it. FM and I have great communication. It's not all peaches and cream but I like it. If I were in my 20s with a young family I was leaving for weeks at a time, I'm sure I'd feel different.

Terrible conditions on 70 in Colorado -- shut down for only the 3rd time in my life.

If you are in danger of being stranded somewhere unable to start, send in a macro 23 & in the text field ask where rs wants you to go (leave your phone # so they can call with questions). But in my experience, road service is unlikely to authorize anything other than the bare minimum.

If they are just weak I'd hilite for joplin & make a list of any other little stuff you want fixed. You may have to wait 1/2 day or more to get looked at, but you can also get jugs and load up on washer fluid, coolant, oil, glad hand seals, replace straps, update permit book, get a truck wash, etc
