5 hours to do 80 miles and still not unloaded

 

Spent last night in Waco. I had the truck stop pizza. I had to make 3 pit stops between Waco and ft worth... Still showed up an hour early on the dock and getting unloaded. Pre plan from ft worth to Cedar Rapids. Looks like I can swing though JopMo and get told my batts are ok...

ive called my FM a bunch of times. Mostly with rookie questions about QuallCom messages. A bunch of times about messed up trailers. Calls are fewer now, I'm getting the hang of the paperwork. I did talk to her yesterday while in Laredo. I gave her a heads up I was going to ask the guys in the shop about my batts. Right at the end, I asked if there was anything that needed taken to the Portland or Seattle area! Lol! No truck maint in Laredo. They did fix my mud flap.

 

What's it mean when you haven't heard the forklifts in a while but the light is still red? I didn't think Texas had unions....

I might have missed something, I had to walk over to the shippers office... Pit stop... Again... The trouble with "mostly fart" is it ain't all fart. Glad I took the time to make that walk!

I did one of those no no's and got me an 11-14 over (even tho ticket says 62 in a 45) and failure to obay traffic control device in a construction zone. Headed to Joplin, probably going to be cleaning out my truck. Doubt I'll get another job driving for the next 3 or so years. Back to minimum wage!
