Well here I am on this cruddy Greyhound headed for the largest city in the United States by square mileage, Jacksonville, Florida. I will update every night on what the days events entail to hopefully help prospective employees. I will be staying at the quality inn on Commonwealth and I-295. One thing I already like is the direct bill taxi. No waiting around to be reimbursed. Well I am going to sign off now... so long.

I don't know but I believe they changed location because it is right next to roadmasters driving school.

I used to think OKC Ok was the largest in regards to square land miles (water miles not included).
Apparently I was wrong too, but interesting still.
    Since Alaska is a state...

Jeez, I must be bored out of my skull.
I just learned I am not entirely wrong, OKC OK could be the largest US city, in CONUS or lower 48.
The list is headed by consolidated city-counties, where a city comprises the whole area of a county (or equivalent), and so may include significant portions of rural areas or even wilderness.
They cities above in Bold Blue are considered Consolidated city-counties.
When these cities are removed from consideration, the largest cities are Oklahoma City, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Antonio.
Well that was exciting and educational, but I'm off to the ice cream (frozen custard) shop.
Interesting enough Frozen Custard gets its creaminess from additional egg yolks...

Good Luck in Orientation, hopefully they'll have some trucks lined up for you all.
That seems to be a topic of issue in another CWTL thread.
But just like freight, it ebbs and flows.

Okay, Day one done! Today we filled out a data sheet on ourselves, did an agility test, ate lunch, and then did a drug screen/physical.
The class started with only 4 people, and we were already down to 3 before lunch! lol
So far so good. Tomorrow is integrity interviews and paper work!
If you come to the Quality Inn on Commonwealth Ave. there is a Burger King, Hotel restaurant, Hardees, and a Waffle House for dinner. Other meals are paid!

What's involved with the agility test?

General question...I don't know a lot about cars -- not to mention trucks. Is this a big problem? I'm happy to learn but I'm a complete beginner.

    Thanks.
