Hello. I am interested in getting into trucking or bus driving, and want to look into getting a CDL. I will most likely use a private CDL school, as being locked into a company contract doesn't sit well with me. I am worried that my driving record will prohibit me from getting a job though. It'll be terrible to spend a lot of time and money, only to not get hired anywhere. Here is my record; 1 speeding ticket from 2015, 1 improper lane change from 2015, 2 Obstructing passage tickets in 2016 (0 points), cell phone ticket in 2017 (0 points).
My license currently has no points, but the tickets are still on my record. Will it be possible to somehow get these tickets dismissed from my record? Thanks for any responses.

but to answer your question. these companies hire who they want and when they need them. so always apply.

Many bus drivers are switching to trucks because the pay is much better.
Where is your location? Perhaps we can give you some leads to good companies after cdl school.IluvCATS Thanks this. -
I’m going to disagree with the others. Yes, you have no points. But you clearly have a complete disregard for the law and rules.
5 tickets? Within a 2 year period.
I’d be wondering when you would decide F it, that construction zone, school zone really doesn’t apply to me.
And oddly enough. Someone thought you would be fine hitting a school bus. But not driving it SMH
