Did you call sirius and have them send out a new activation code to the new radio or perhaps send a new activation code from their web site? You also need to be able to hear programming (music) on channel 1 to insure you're receiving signal from the satellites, in order to receive the activation signal.

 

Rush isn't on Sirrus XM so you don't need it.

 

I prefer 80's Female Hair Metal videos on my phone personally, plug into Sony X-Plode receiver, yea baby.

 

If you have a web account you can send the activation signal yourself. I've done it a few times when I've replaced the unit.
And you need to wait about 15 minutes after the signal is sent, before changing the channel.

I'm curious why the truck you are in even matters?

 

Every XM radio that I have bought came with a manual.
It is in the box.
