Depends on what meds you are talking about and for what medical conditions. What pill exactly are you talking about? If you need a pill to stop the voices in your head from telling you to crash into the guy passing you then no, you probably are not going to get a job in trucking. If you got acid reflux and need a pill to keep it under control then that wouldn't be a big deal. So for people to answer your question you need to provide information and be clear or you won't get a real answer.

The blue pill or the red pill? :biggrin_25520:

Firstly, nothing on here is more than an opinion, so don't base your entire decision on what you read here. People report their beliefs or experiences here, but that doesn't take the place of the opinions of doctors and an individual medical evaluation of you. My experience is that if the medication is prescribed by a doctor, and he determines that it is not going to a problem for you in your occupation, there shouldn't be any problems. It may show on a drug screen, but if it's a properly prescribed medicine, there are procedures to account for it. Trucker are not immune to the same ills that plague the rest of society, and within reason, are permitted the same medical and pharmalogical treatments as the rest of society.

But none of the advice or comments here, mine included, take the place of valid medical advice.
