    Nah.

End the 70 hour rule. It is pointless. Never even effects me. Just do not see what was done 8 days ago making me fatigued today.

End all of the special interest exemptions. Every #### truck subject to 395 should be on ELDs. Any b.s. phony reason for an ex2mtion can be boiled down to "We like to haul cheap crap, and like to lie about our compliance with 395".

I would also like Part 395 violations to be grounds for suspension of authority before these aree holes kill people. And them we finally decide they are a danger to the motoring public.

But what I detest about that particular idiot is his lies.

Accidents are not up 56%. ELDs are not crippling the economy, elds do not tell you when to sleep.

Just the same mealy mouthed ignorance spouted by the ignorant ELDorme crowd. You know the stupid ####s that got us a half hour mandated break with their ignorance.

I wish those pukes would have kept to their silly hashtag nonsense. Less idiots wasting my road. But no they were cowards. Still out here clogging the road, and wasting oxygen whining on the CB.

You really didn’t listen to what the man said, did you? He wasn’t talking about ELDs. He was talking about revising HOS. He was talking about figuring out a way to put some FLEXIBILITY into the HOS. Good god. Some of you will just cut off your nose to spite your face.

Yes I heard him. And his other comments as well as the other leech at the end.

Flexibility is a code word for wasting time. Flexibilityy is used to hide on duty time that should count. Flexibility is allowing excessive detention. Flexibility is the crutch of those that do piss poor planning.

The 14 clock needs to stay right where it is.

But the elog rule just went into effect in 2017,
    What does this mean?

And traffic accidents are up since gas went from 5 dollars to 2 dollars a gallon and more people can afford to drive, and the Great Recession is over

Not everyone is a drop and hook operation. And there is no way to plan for the unforeseen.

I run in one tight little area, and traffic is up, both automobile and truck. Getting very busy out here.

I suppose you've never had a plan go to heck before. You can't always predict no matter how much you trip plan . Fact is many times I Could've use the flexibility of another 2 hours or so to get to a safe place to park. Like when Wal-Mart holds you for like 7 hours to unload. After you drove 6 to get there. Guess what. You have 1 hour out of 14 left but they tell you to get out after unloading and truckstop is 2 hours away. No planning Could be predicted that much of a wait.
