Of couse I know there is no reason to be jealous .
But you know as well as I do , that many people out there get jealous for the most insane reasons.
Just like when my friend had his beam toppled over just because he gets out better than most.
The guy did the research, he put the time in and he did all the work himself and a lot to be proud of .
And he did it all with no eyes .
I give a guy like that all the credit in the world .
Then along comes some jealous jerk and destroyes all his hard work .

 

So, exactly what are you compensating for with that "big" radio?

 

And I didn't talk down to you. I informed you of the legalities and spectral quality of your radio.

I also said, "Only an idiot would spend that kind of money to buy a single band radio." Did you think I was talking about you? If I were I would have specifically used your user name. Now if you assumed the title of Idiot that would be your own doing..........

Also your argument concerning the legality of your radio is kind of lame. They wouldn't make it if it were illegal? Very lame.

Spend some time looking through the posts here. Read some of the letters from the FCC that have been copied and posted here. You'll see that you are wrong.

BTW, I don't own a Cobra.............But i would be happy to put my 40 year old Heathkit HW-101 up against that SuperStar anytime. And I'll turn her down to 5 Watts.

 

I had a mosley once....Not a bad antenna..........I cut mine down and use the tubing as materials when I build my own antennas. I build all of my own antennas.

I don't care about the FCC.
never will .
It's an authority thing, I don't like anyone telling what I can and can't do.
And when someone makes a statement in the way that was made one would likely assume you're talking about them .
And I Love a good challenge , It's always nice to know where you stand .
I'm a very mellow kind of guy, I just get excited a little bit easy , I mean no disrespect at all sir .
