Based on my research, I found 12 large(r) companies training people to get CDLs:
    • Prime
    • Schneider
    • Roehl
    • Wilson Logistics
    • Werner
    • KLLM (+FFE for TX residents)
    • Swift
    • Stevens
    • Knight (yes, I know they're the same company as Swift, but apparently they have a different training program)
    • Millis Transfer
    • TMC
    • Maverick
Didn't include Melton because they only take students from OK and TX. Surprised to see that JB Hunt does not train people to get CDLs.

Just curious, wanted to start a discussion. I'm surprised there is nowhere that keeps an updated list of companies that will train people to get their CDLs. When I was doing research, I looked for such a list. These 12 came up fairly often, but there are way more companies that train than I realized: places like Halvor, Continental Express, Hirschbach, CFI, RE West, TLD Logistics, Mast Trucking, Freymiller, Carter Express, etc. They don't all offer to pay for lodging or travel of course, but I think it would be a boon to potential drivers to know how many options they might have if they need to go through a company for training.

Schneider veteran here (dry van, and intermodal).

Soooooo....do you already have a CDL....or are you contemplating getting one through one of those listed, above?

Already have a CDL, just wanted to help new drivers. I went through Schneider, on their dedicated Walmart account for 69 cpm. Did about a month of research before narrowing it down to Schneider, Hirschbach, and DOT Foods.
