Consensus on who are considered the mega carrier training companies?

    Right, Class A coming in the door. 1 year $2,500 contract just to ride with their "trainer" for 3 - 4 weeks. Then get issued a rag International that might make it down the road without issues. They are a revolving door.

    No CDL school. Now my thought process is going to what state prison system they’re working with for work release programs.

    I don't think Freymiller will help you get a cdl. They'll hire you and put you through training though if you already have one, but no experience.

    Company has gone down hill for sure. $400.00 per week - taxes & road expenses for 6 weeks out w/trainer is pitiful. No hometime during. Mileage pay is nothing to brag about also. All OTR & sketchy hometime options.

    Better options are out there.

    As of 1/6/2023, this list is no longer valid:

    Prime NO ROOKIES . Requires 6 months. there is a "freeze" on rookies
    Werner; NO ROOKIES: requires 30 days experienc
    Swift...still hires rookies...same corporation as Knight: 45 cents per mile
    Knight still hires rookies...same corporation as Swift 45 cents per mile
    Roehl ....nothing in my zip code 96001
