Its doable after a year or two. Some people will come on here and say you will make $65,000 a year right off the bat. For most, you can look forward to taking home $35,000 - $40,000 the first couple years. After that, with the right company, you can start earning a decent check.

 

Yes you might in a year. Companies are promising alot. Promises that are easily broken.

 

You're right in Atlanta practically and that's a good thing for high paying trucking jobs.
I'm one of those that say it is possible to net that much if you attend a good school and acquire all the endorsements plus TWIC identification before graduating from the cdl school.

 

@TravR1 made over $60K his first year, if I remember correctly and now is in the $80K+ range.
He can tell you about that and how to do it.

As a fresh green trainee at magnum you won’t make that. As a second year or hiring in as an experienced driver that is a doable number most of the time but no guarantees.
