So many grown men with way too much concern about what other people have on their feet. Who the hell cares. Yall sound like a bunch of teenage girls talking about other people's choice of shoes.

Sure kick people out for inappropriate footwear on a jobsite because it's a safety liability. Other than that why does it actually matter what they wear on their own time though?

I almost always drive wearing just my socks because my feet will sweat in boots. Throw on the crocs during the day when I need to get out for a few minutes.

Watched a guy wearing a tank top, athletic shorts, and flip-flops walk into a machine/welding shop. He couldn't understand why 5 people came running after him to gtfo the building.

That's your perogative, if the flip flop fits, wear it. Note, however, that this is not the Tanker forum, and this is not in reference to after work footwear. If you feel a need for attention, because you do not understand the context and usage of the term, than I can assure you, it's not going to be a good look for you, here. I suggest you lurk a bit longer before you take offense to remarks that have nothing to do with your choice of after work footwear.

Nope. Old urban legend from long before the internet. There is no such law in the US. Little bit of googling and the only thing I could find is maybe one in Alabama but it only applies to motorcycles.

Kind like lane splitting on a motorcycle in California. There's no law saying it is illegal so that means it's legal. Most every other state has laws that make it illegal.

Not to mention I'd love to see them get a look at my feet from outside the truck while I'm driving. They going to hop through my window at 70mph?

As butthurt as everyone is about flip flops I'm gonna start wearing tie dye jesus sandals 24/7 from now on.

Not like I have to worry about cold weather, the beetus keeps me from feeling the cold in my feet anyways.

And I'm gonna prop my legs up on the steering wheel like a recliner too. Feet on the dash? Pfft. Amatuer hour.

Also those truckers out there with dem sawft hands also got dem sawft feets. One pair of booty shorts that say Juicy on the ### and jesus sandals for me from now on.

I started driving with no shoes on last year . Taking my shoes off when getting in the truck and never wearing any shoes on in the sleeper at all. Even if I'm just grabbing something.

It's amazing how much cleaner it keeps the inside of the truck. Not to mention how much more comfortable it is to drive. I'm not one to wear flip-flop so I just have a old pair of shoes I took the laces out of , easy slip on and off
