Isiah 31 Mr Trooper to Trucker at the end of your Isiah 40:18 referring to those who might be tired and mount wings of a eagle to fly again. After all the things God has assured us all on earth under a Heaven for a Tent minus the princes and kings that which fail when they try to make themselves something they are not.

I don't want to derail the thread just a stab here. Also just so you know I do not argue faiths. Only a fool will. What awaits us is a New Earth just as it was at the beginning after the Rapture. Those of us that pass before the Rapture will go to Heaven until the Rapture. The last of the Prophecies is actually starting to unfold with the Prime Minister of Israel when it changes.

I think I read you last post wrong...lol. I have only a few hours sleep the past two nights. Packing up shortly for my next vacation this summer. This one I just kick back on the beach and write. It's my vacation from the vacation.

Not trying to be a smart ###.
But you and your friend should see if you both can pass
    A physical first.
Better to know now then a 1000 miles from home
After you quit your other jobs.

Bad carrier choice if you want to drive an automatic! Why would you want to drive for a living if you don't like operating a vehicle?

The trend now is for companies to buy automatics but by far, the industry has not gone all automatic and will not likely ever. Once the bean counters add up the additional expenses for initial purchase, fuel consumption, and long term maintenance, the trucking world will again return to mostly manuals. Just like it has done before. This automatic thing now is just another trend that will pass, just like it has done many times before.

The automatic is not hardly a trend. It took decades to build a automatic that I will accept back in 2001. Even then...

I tell you what is the trend. Once all these illegals, immigrants etc start asserting .50 a mile experience in a few years up from .20 a mile today, everyone is gonna buy robot trucks to replace them.

Freightliner built the Inspiron that did a #### good job on hoover dam a few months ago under total computer AI control with a assistance of a human a touch here or there on the old south to north crossing around the crazier rocks.

Just talked to a guy the other day who drove log truck in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. He told me about the crappy attempt to try automatics way back in the 60s. He had the same issues with driving the automatics that we have today. I knew guys in the 80s that were going to get automatics because they were sure to save fuel. That too didn't happen. Mid 2000 lots of fleets stocked up on automatics after they just had dismal results with the three peddle autos of the late 1990s, and early 2000s. Just another trend conjured up by cleaver advertising.
