I thought they just fell over on the freeway

 

I bet you can't find a single frogman suit within 100 miles of SoCal right now.

 

Going to see a lot of good stuff on Ebay and at local flea markets.

 

Is that port all automated robot cranes there? Maybe china is playing another game of “sike” with us.

 

I read where it’s actually cheaper to just let them sink and let the insurance companies deal with it,than try and retrieve the cargo.Most of it is probably destroyed anyway.

If youve ever seen the latches securing container to container, it's amazing more of them aren't lost. A friend of mine works loss prevention for Matson and he has told me its very common for these ships to lose outside, stern containers in passage, actually the cheep seats you might say. Theres no recovery, its all insurance claim, at best there headed for the scrap yard.
