    Hello all
So my question is if say I had my own truck, trailer and authority how would I go about hauling directly for a customer

Secondly say I got a customer I did two loads a day for and made anout 600 per load and did it 5 days a week and averaging 2000 mile would this be possible to pay all expect expenses to start it out like first year insurance an average truck and trailer payments and other stuff I know and don't know about.

Thirdly if you could set this up how would you go about it to succeed in this or is this a bad ideal all together

If you could get 2 600 dollar loads a day 5 days a week at 2,000 miles a week you'd have it made, but that's just my opinion.

Short answer to your loaded questions is Yes. You can make a living at that rate turning those miles. Sounds like your off to a good start. Keep on keeping on.

Pretty sure that’s what everyone is looking for. It’s doable in the good times and extremely difficult in times like now.

Forgot to answer your last question. I would set it up with one tractor and two trailers. This way while your delivering load number one, number two is being loaded for when you return. Then number one for the following day is being loaded while you deliver trailer number two.

It’s a good idea, if your not inflating those numbers then you don’t have anything to worry about. If your inflating the number of loads that you’ll be doing, well then I would be concerned. Are you doing this year round? Are you really running 10 loads per week? Or is it more like 6 loads a week? Important to get real world feedback before jumping in. Sounds solid, not gonna be setting any revenue records, but not gonna be re-mortgaging the house either.
