Contracting with another carrier, under IEL leased truck

    I just looked over my lease and NO you CAN NOT take it elsewhere unless you pay it off. I hope someone is interested in taking my lease over.

    I can confirm this, after speaking directly to IEL. So, I have some hard choices to make now.

    Is there a reason I am not seeing what you are in Section 12, page 4? Mind you, I am looking at the IEL agreement to reference and not the Carrier agreement. Do we have different contracts (doubtful)? That section for me is titled Events of Default.

    Yes. There are 2 separate contracts.

    so is it tru can i go to another company if i lease from swift and if so how long do i have to wait after i lease on thx
