Had to get the clutch pedal, bellhousing and linkage off a wrecked truck. Also need the shifter, shifter boot and splitter valve. Cut a hole in the floor and shorten the driveshaft. New clutch and flywheel. I replaced the rear seal too. New speed sensor too as the old one didn't work right. So far so good. Hasn't given me any problems since the conversion

Wondering how much it cost you since I am contemplating converting.

The rough quite I got was ~7 to 9 thou from Don Tidwell at Tidwell Transmissions in Dallas. I was looking at a $7K bill from FL dealer to put in a new XY shifter and TCU and the Eaton techs could only say that "might" fix the problem so to hell with that. I picked up the truck. Converting to manual started looking real good at that point but after I picked up the truck, it calmed down and now only rarely does it's reshift into 10th trick and no more faults and 10th gear lock up. I discovered that the battery wiring is all crossed up between the chassis and house batteries and the converter/inverter is crossed up as well. Voltage surges because of improperly connected batteries may be throwing off the TCU.
Long answer for a short question. I do not have a clutch pedal so not sure if Don factored hanging that third pedal or not in the quote. Call Don. Nice guy.

As I posted earlier, it was $9K for me but worth every penny. 10K miles on truck since the conversion and absolutely no problems.

ItalGerBrit I’m having sort of the same issues with my autoshift. I have a Volvo D12 and have replaced all sensors. I also replaced the harness for the position sensor on XY Shiftter and having the same issues. Where did you had your conversion done? If I could have the website or phone number from the shop I would greatly appreciate it!

I appreciate it your feed back man! I’ll look him up and definitely looking forward to have this done. I had enough with this autoshift.
