depends which auto it is. if its a ultra shift with the centrifugal clutch then more then likely no. But from what ive read it is the same box it just has a different top plate to accommodate the servos instead of a shifter. The other obvious problem is converting it to a manual clutch/throwout bearing. ive never seen a big truck inside the bell housing so idk what kind of setup they use for a throwout bearing.

Autoshift still runs a regular clutch and linkage... so cut a hole in the cab and replace the top of the tranny.... maybe futz with the wiring and engine parameters and you would probably be good to go.

Ultrashift through and you probably wouldn't want to drive it. Trying to downshift would probably be a nightmare.

if it is a 3 pedal truck meaning it still has a clutch pedal, then yes you can convert it back to a manual 10speed you will have to swap the top of the trans. out

I hope you mean pedal not petal. If I were driving a 3 pedal auto shift, I wouldn't dislike it so much.

I pulled my ultra shift or sh## out last year. Was told by the Eaton rep that converting back to standard was not an option on that tranny. that tranny went thru 2 clutches in 400000 miles.:biggrin_25510: stay away ......

Only guy I know personally that had one in a truck had the same problem! It was like a clutch a year for him. His previous truck went 900k on original clutch (lots of cross country trips hauling military equipment on a dropdeck) Sold the lemon and said he'll never own another one.
