Well everything has changed for sure. You can't get a rate worth a #### booking the day of for anything it seems. Fridays have been the worst day to book for years ever since they screwed up the 34 hour reset regulation that only allowed one per week with mandatory off duty/sleeper hours between 1am and 5am required for the reset and foolishly went back to allowing unlimited number of 34 hour resets in a week. That one little regulatory change made for LOTS of extra available capacity, especially on weekends when most drivers want off, for cheap rates. Friday used to be easy money and Mondays sucked now the opposite is true only Mondays are marginal. Best money I have seen for a while has been booking loads a week or two in advance and it's not great money but you can make a living. Not really how I like to do it but that's how I have to.

Question, how do you track the load if I'm booking the load for my driver ? He doesn't have access to the application. So they have a way for me to allowed them to track the load since I'm not with him ?

You can do updates (check-in) by phone, however, they really prefer the driver with the load to have the app running on their device.imperium Thanks this. -
Convoy sucks i dont know how they stay in business they lie and cheat you i have been waiting to get unloaded for 2 days now they cant find anyone to unload me and when you call customer support its a different person everytime and you have to keep calling them to get them to do something convoy is a bad broker i strongly suggest nobody use them

Does anybody know if there is a connection between C. H. Robinson and Convoy? The reason I ask is because I just picked up a load for Convoy going from Fresno to Grand Prairie. The bill of lading looks just like the C. H. Robinson's own BOL and the load number is definitely a C. H. Robinson load number.

Double brokered load. And I've seen it on one of the Uber's loads I covered too...the original broker was COYOTE. LOL!
EDIT:
Perhaps it was CO- BROKERED too... what a nice and deceptive term. LOLLast edited: May 3, 2019
