Conway bought out by XPO

Needless to say, coming from a line-haul wife of a man who works for con-way I'm beginning to worry a little about this. All I know is, I sure hope they stick with the no weekends, no holidays and home every day stuff, at least for the line-haul drivers. I guess I cant speak for anyone who does truckload.

 

They will probably create meeting points for the drivers to shorten the runs saving them money... Conway has line haul drivers makin around 100k a year

 

We already have meet and turns.

 

Ok when I worked for Conway freight my barn didn't... Maybe they are going to be having a lot more...

Maybe it will mean less dock work for the line guys and gals?

 

Drivers being drivers.... Who would have thought???i would gladly give up the multiple daily dock hours on top of a 600 mile run.

 

Your 600 mile run is going to be shortened by 300... Get your winter gear ready it's going to be a cold winter on the dock

 

You guys have no idea what cold is down there!

 

I've been running primarily Wyoming and N Dakota for a while, and I guarantee you I know how to spell colddddd.
