Or sell off the parts.......Truckload goes to USA or whoever, LTL goes to someone else (or split off as a stand alone), Expedited goes to someone else (Panther aka ABF). Then, they get to keep the "crown Jewel" and go on about their business.

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

They wanted Menlo but when they started buying actual trucking companies they realized they could buy the whole franchise and get into all avenues of freight all at once

It goes without saying that a great deal of change will take place in the next few years, some will have a positive effect for driver's, some negative...just hope that the good outweighs the bad. I am optimistic based on the track record of XPO and things I have heard through the grapevine...

It's a good thing Zollars isn't at YRC or he'd try to buy the freight part of Con Way...

The picture in post 46. . .
Showing the executive standing alone. I wonder if there is a subliminal message to this picture. Such as we WILL be the only LTL in the world.hdcut Thanks this. -

hold the phone........there is a regulatory investigation being initiated due the the "low ball price" for stock.
and ......Freight is going to be a 'subsidiary" of XPO for at least a year or two. They are not gonna make any major changes immediately. (the comparison to YRC is a bit "apple to oranges"....no??)
and.....yep the management is going to get whacked.....rightfully so IMO! If you work for Con-way then you see all the duplicate supervisors and so called "floaters" running around the re-ship at night. If you go to G/O and see all the so called "brass" running around there it makes you shake your head.
after all.....we move boxes, crates, and barrels for people. how many people does it take to supervise that?? (at $150 million a year combined {on the low end/no including executives}??) -
hdcut Thanks this.

Just curious, do you have a link or anything to substantiate that? Not trying to start anything, I'm just curious.hdcut Thanks this.
