I thought it was kinda a normal thing to have to wait for a trainer ?

Well let me put it this way with personal experience. I did my training with FFE. After I got my license I was able to get a week off (not wanted) because the training/orientation department was off as well (Christmas and New Years). After 5 days at home I went to orientation in Lancaster, and after 3 days (where ours is 5) I was set to wait for a trainer. I was there for 1 week due to my requesting a non-smoker. 2 other guys who were willing to settle for a smoker ended up waiting 2 weeks for their trainers. I point this out because FFE doesn't (or didn't have) as many requirements to be a trainer as what Conway does, as a direct result they had more trainers available to take students.
