I am seriously doubting he will make it if he is crying over being gone 4 weeks. I get the wanting to work, but in order for your FM to work on getting you the miles they have to know they can trust you to stay out there for them. from about Jan 17th-Feb 17th, I brought home 3990. I stay out a month at a time, and then its time to go home and RELAX while I drink up my checks lol.
Conway is full of it?

Which is it? a cab dispatcher or a air force dispatcher? maybe you need to get out of the hotel and go for a walk ...I hear the woods in Mo are nice

Truckducky...I don't even work for Conway and never have, but they will be at the top of my list if I drive a van again.
What you're going through is what almost every new driver goes through, regardless of the company. You're going through it in much more comfortable surroundings than the average company, I guarantee you. Take some time and browse some other company threads and you will see some totally horrid experiences.
I can sense your frustration coming out in your posts, but stay with it. You've chosen a great company to start with, perhaps the best company that a new driver can start with. Try to relax and enjoy the ride. Trucking is a job you will love and a job you will hate, sometimes in the same day. Don't jump ship now. Protect your employment with Conway and stay at least a year and it will be the best decision you ever made in starting a trucking career.
Take some time, relax, get a good magazine or book and chill.
Enjoy the ride. I wish you luck in your new career.ECU51 Thanks this. -

Now I understand.
As a former A.F. maintenance troop, and having to deal with Job Control (maintenance dispatch), them guys were right in line with them flight suit inserts.
No offence to Job Control, or flight suit inserts.
