I'm sitting at the last truck stop before you cross into Canada. My load del. 7 miles once I cross the border. Guys at Taylor say most of the time from here we usually go back to Taylor yard empty. But not always. We'll see in the morning. Congrads. Katey on the one year.

Glad ur up and running. I hate sitting for any reason. Even the 34 restarts I don't care to sit. Not sure but might have to do with 20 plus years in the Army. Where its hurry up and wait attitude they try to instill in everyone.

Thank you all for the congratulatory messages :)

We will arrive in Minneapolis around 7 in the AM, deliver when they open and then don't pick up until 9 PM 70 miles away. The load we are picking up we will be relaying in Lancaster where we will take the much needed opportunity to do laundry!

Well trust me...I am not really ######## yet but....(hopefully this wont effect the miles for smiles program).....I was given a 700 mile load last Friday, I was highlighted to go home...and the load was designed to get me home. Well on the way, a stupid 2 wheeler cut me off at a light and caused me to slam on the breaks. No biggee!! But the load wasnt loaded correctly at the shipper and slipped forward....I didnt know until trying to make delivery, Tuesday. (are you paying attention to days?? thats 4 days later then i picked it up) So, take the slow roll to the delivery(costco in w palm beach) get there in plenty of time, pull up to dock, and think "hey, after this I should be going home" NOT!!!! Costco starts unloading, it takes them 20 minutes and I get the all clear to head to the gate....about then I notice the pressure guage on my trailer says "I still have a full trailer"...So long story short.....I guess when I stopped short instead of "killing" Mr 2 wheeler...2 pallets fell forward that were loaded totally improperly, so Costco rejects the whole load(except for the 4 palllets they pulled off before they saw the 2 fallen over pallets). After that Costco, tells me to get off their property, and I have no choice but to deal with all the consequences from here on. As there are no truckstops within 50 miles of this reciever, I eventually find a nice rest area 40 miles away and wait for the decision on what to do with the load. Finally they tell me to, head back to about 4 miles away from where the reciever was to a very small CWF yard where one of the guys who works there had agreed to help me rework the load. About 2 hours later we rework the load and get everything straightened out..mind you only 2 pallets fell over to begin with. Completely out of hours......so I have no choice but to spend the night there(the parking lot is about the size of a standard Burger King) Next day....wake up and they finally about 1100 tell me to go and try to have Costco recieve it now that it has been reworked...I promptly send them a response saying that they surely will not even let me in the gate without an appointment to no response....So being as it is about 4 miles away, I just say screw it and go ahead in. Well, I was right, I get there, and they tell me that they cant let me in without an appointment...So, I have no choice but to head out. 50 miles to the nearest truckstop and there I sat the rest of the day, until they finally tell me to just drop the load in Orlando and head home......So beware if you are headed to Orlando, If you get the load going to Costco in W Palm Beach...Do whatever you can to get out of it....LOL. Anyway....680 miles in what turns out to be 6 days...and I am finally home. And yes I have had a few stiff drinks by now...LOL....Hope everyone is doing better then I have been the past few days.

Baltimore getting unloaded 17 hrs early, FM is "talking to planners" of where to go after I informed her of the fact there is no parking in Baltimore except the $20 a night TA

Oh yeah I forgot 2 hrs 15 min on my 14 so not expecting much. I might risk just parking at the Consignee if Conway won't reimburse parking at TA
