That's what I just was told 2 days ago and was told "two people need to work as a team to play ball even in bad weeks" I've got enough history in the local area I moved to and enough work history that if a company wants to play around then I will simply take my ball and go home.

Recap of the week that explains my new attitude
    Sat-mon. AM 36 hr reset
    Mon-254 miles

Tues- Joplin scheduled load wrong for a team and they could not deliver so load dropped and then I drove 50 miles and sat on load 21 hrs to del.

Wed-del. dropped ld 0800 PU next load 1300 then proceed to drive another 350 miles and del. 17 hrs early. Get unrealistic preassign but no other drivers can cover SO forced split break

Today- split to "protect PU Apt." get to shipper 2 hrs early. No apts needed back into dock, and get told load won't be ready to load till 11:00 (yup, could have done full 10 hr if info was correct)

So recap Monday low miles, Tuesday Low miles due to wrong scheduling of team and I bail out Joplin, Wed low miles BUT ignore Joplin and delivered 17 hrs B4 Apt.<--wrong info no apt needed, today screw up hrs to protect apt that couldn't be changed per Joplin and find out NO APT REQUIRED<--wrong info.

I will admit it seems to be a CSR issue not a Dispatch issue but either way causes the more important paycheck issue.

It's trucking #### weeks happen, I've had a couple with Conway, the.difference between them and other companies is I get better weeks right after. I'm still averaging over 3500/mo takehome, with a state job that was more like 2500

That's the game Paul. Like I've said before Conway isn't perfect. This last week I had some issues with CSR's as well as fleet manager (first time for that). I ended up calling in and got a conference call with both of them going. Rather than complain and say why the times they had set couldn't work, I gave them what could work. I am at the end of the "honeymoon" phase, so now I will be having to work a little harder for a little while. As I said though, Conway has taken care of everything in a timely fashion, I had a couple of weeks back a few months ago when I ran relays with split sleeper births to make all my appointments, it SUCKED and my miles were down around 2100. However, immediately after that my weeks went up to 3000+ for a month.

Sitting at home right now, getting some crap straightened out since mom had to have a second hip surgery.

Back from a short vacation. My load doesn't p/u till 1700. Which for once I didn't mind. Cause I didn't get home till 11 pm and to bed at around 0100. Just wish I didn't have to go to trk to find an empty and appt time. I could have stayed in bed. But I did get nap in trk then head to Ardmore then to smyna, tn

Per previous posts this started when I was told to be happy w/ 1700-1900 miles a week... This was on the so called conference call. I always make suggestions and let disp. Know when I'll arrive and start my next break. If I made it any easier or clear I might as well find my own loads (sometimes I have to in the NE & CAN due to Joplin not knowing our customers)

My paychecks are fine and yes I avg around $3500/mo take home but at a projected drop to 1700-1900 miles that means I drive 30 hrs a week and sit the rest which is less money made and more spent.

I'm far past said honeymoon phase, hence it's cheaper to have new hires run the miles and me run an 1800 mi a week avg. I'm ok with that it's good business but can't justify being away from home 3 weeks for 90 hrs of work during the entire 3 weeks
