Villa Rica ga..Sam's Dc....after unloading headed to la grange ga to walk mart Dc for a drop n hook..

 

Take I-8 to I-10 to Las Cruces, to U-25 north to Us-70 up and over and through white sands missle range, to Alamogordo, take bypass.around to us-54/us-70 to Tularosa, bear right staying on us-70, up and over hill, onto Roswell Nm to Clovis Nm. Us-60 to i-27 to I-40 Amarillo Tx.
shorter than going up I-17. Pulls on hills are not bad.
Also shorter than Us-54 too.
54 is 2 lane from Tularosa to Santa Rosa, whereas 70/60 is all 4 lane.
If coming across that way to I-44, from Calexico, Nogales, El Paso, thats the way i run.

 

Wanna knock some more miles off, run I-8 to gila bend, up sr-85 to I-10, to us-60 thru.globe up by show low, to I-40.
The switch backs are a hoot

 

Been there ...done that b4. ..not again if over 15k I'm the box ,,,too much a pain in the ##### to save 25 mi

 

Finally get to leave Hazleton PA...49 hrs after getting here. 2 stop in Ontario del. tuesday then who knows maybe another run by wed. Night

Del. To Walmart DC in BENTONVILLE, Ar. Now sitting at Pilot only had 9 minutes on 14hr. I wish all the Wal-Mart DC's. Was like this on. I've been here several times , never a line to get in and always several empty trls. It's always 30 minutes or less.
