Yeah, they certainly havent been on their game down there in Jopmo lately, especially nights and weekends have been very frustrating to deal with. I was parked next to another driver at a pickup today and the driver actually stole my load, which gave me another load going just a little bit farther, but the "office" orchestrated the whole thing and screwed it all up. So the other driver sent them a message asking them if they took their stupid pill or something like that, and I immediately started laughing when the driver told me about it....then as we were sitting there they get a message across the qualcomm and proceed to read it to me, and I just rolled into a laughter that carried me for about 200 miles, as a matter of fact I am still laughing about it. I cant remember the specifics of the message, but it was something about us drivers need to watch what we say on the qualcomm and that what the driver wrote was very offensive and the like. Anyway I am sure I screwed the story up enough...probably one of those had to be there deals.

I get the idea of it Wolfy, remember some of our customers have access to messages going across the QC so it's more than just an office issue. That being said I will be on the phone with my FM first thing Monday morning, and it's NOT going to be a friendly conversation.

and whatever happened to preplanning....I havent seen a preplan in a couple of weeks now. Was that just a trial run? I was likeing always knowing what was coming up next. Never have like sitting on a board.
-
Preplanning makes more sense for everyone involved, it gives the driver a better idea of how to plan his hours, and it also makes it easier to look at more loads that can be ran effectively. ECU likes to talk about the scrubs behind the wheel, but I want to know what is suddenly going on with all the scrubs in the offices. I had more miles than this when I had a breakdown in Dallas and was off the road for 4 days, hell I had more miles when I was snowed in for 3.
The funny part is this lack of miles is only happening to me when I get stuck up here in the worthless northeast "where all the freight is", I get down south and my miles aren't that bad.
FFFF I need a FFFFFFF beer! -
I hear ya....And on top of not having miles being in the northeast....dang....Need to put out some smiles for miles. The more this company becomes a training company, the more scrubs we are going to see behind the wheels and behind the phone/qualcomms.

I've put in for hometime, I figure from where I am right now it is the only way to know I am gonna get miles. That usually means a load to Laredo, from there going to be talking to local dispatch. They usually have something about running Texas there. It may mean a few less miles, but at least I will be around people I don't despise.

In West Memphis terminal sitting in the back .

They still got you running back and forth with those tire loads Rail?

Hate to throw in any more negative, but..................This is the same stuff that went on there a year ago when I was there. It's sad to see such a highly touted company be run this way. I kicked myself for a while over leaving them, but now after reading this stuff and talking to a couple of other CWTL drivers I see I made the right decision. Good luck guys and gals. I will stay right here where I am now and get my consistent miles and $$$$.
