Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Still sitting here in PA ready to get this load tomorrow and get my assets back to Texas.

 

Had a very frustrating last few days. Got sent running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Deadheading more miles than we drove loaded (over 2,200 deadhead miles and only 1900 or so loaded miles).

Sitting in Calexico right now number 2 on the board (as we have been all day and likely will til atleast tomorrow).

Hoping next week is a lot better...

 

Coming back out on the road tomorrow 5 days of BBQ and few cases of beer still haven't improved my attitude all that much. Hope for a load tomorrow but who knows

 

Up here I wouldn't count on it. They are getting OTR drivers stuck up here because they dont know how to work a ###### regional driver.

In Rawlins, WY tonight. Going to make the last leg of our journey tomorrow to get to Springville, UT.

 

Are all you other drivers having an issue with getting miles? Man, I am really struggling here; last three paychecks under $500.00 and all that to be in the truck 24 hours a day. I have been on my fleet manager to get more miles, never take time off, and I have never been late on a load. Cant go on like this much longer. Only way that I can see anyone being successful doing this is if you have no bills (basically homeless), then, even though the pay is so poor, at least you could still save money. I've been talking to other drivers and they seem to be experiencing the same thing; no miles, little money.

Hope everyone's miles improve. I'll be back out there on Tuesday. Took 5 days off. From what I've been seeing on here about lack of miles glad I took of. Be safe see ya out there hopefully rolling pass one another which would mean miles. Nite all.

 

Have to take you up on that next trip Paul. Drowned some shrimp yesterday, a little rest today, and round 4 of 6 starts tomorrow. Compared to the other issues, the chemo should be a piece of cake. You be safe.
