Your right that's exactly how I did it. I would use trk A/c for about 10 minutes. Then APU. As for APU breaking. The only problem I had was having to get belts tighted every 2-3 months. But had friends that had problems consistently with their APU.

 

Today's high temp. here in Phoenix is suppost to be 106 tomorrow's high 110. After del. This evening I head towards Flagstaff for 0700 p/u. It's amazing how 2 hours and temp is 40 degrees cooler and 4000 feet higher in elevation

 

Sitting at the CWF in Long Beach waiting for our load to Abilene, not supposed to P/U til 2200 though.

 

Sitting in Temple, TX (30 miles south of Waco). delivered the load a day early, and exhausted my 11 (650 miles), so I will be on for dispatch to get home first thing in the morning. I figure I will pick something up here or in Waco going to Laredo, and DH from there to Brownsville dropping my trailer en route at Pharr.

 

Sitting in Hazleton... A rare sight the last 5 weekends and it's kind of enjoyably spooky. Only 3 people hear; ME, MYSELF, & I.... That's right folks no log jam in Hazleton, PA this weekend. Relayed my trailer 13 hrs early whoever gets it will be lucky it's the best east coast run and I ran it 500 mi to relay it but there are still around 1800 miles left on the run, wish I could have kept it since it is the best regional run we have but no appoint ny times were set for stop 2 & 3 so they had me drop it here.

Tired in a good way, left the house Tuesday around 10 AM and due to Canada's more lenient driving/on duty regulations i only have 33 hrs left on my 70 where I sit now. So far this week has been opposite of the last 5 let's hope it holds up.

 

I am hoping it does County, I think there are some issues being resolved in the offices over communications and people not wanting to do their jobs (speculation). We'll hope for the best.

 

For those of you who have been waiting with baited breath I did make my delivery on time. We then picked up a load at a mineral plant in the middle of no-where (Redmond, UT) and stopped that night at the rest area at the top of the Vail pass. Tonight we're in Lincoln, NE about 20mi from our drop.

 

Sitting in Bagdad, Az waiting for 0700 p/u this place is out in the middle of nowhere. Look on a map. The highway ends in this town. Nite all.

 

Well, woke up and got reassigned the load I brought in. Good enough for me

 

Can anyone give me an idea of what most of the company trucks are? Which from the O/O side to company just curious to which one my husband and I might be stuck in. Thanks everyone have a safe weekend !!
