Just got to Tallulah Louisiana to shut down for the night, taken a load to El Paso to drop,then headed home to OKC, then Joplin to switch to company !!! Everyone be safe !!!

Siting in Watertown,NY waiting for new border paper work. Fun comparison new to old

Old System- I put on PARS sticker and send to broker with border crossing and it gets approved by te time I get to border

New System- Fax paper work to Taylor at 11:30 AM, still no paper work at 1900, paper work sent to me after I go to sleep it arrives at T/S around 2300. I wake up at 0300 and find out they didn't look at cover sheet and put the wrong border crossing (the one Joplin wanted on original run) that is 55 mi out of route and involves $28.50 in tolls on NY Thruway since I PU the relay in Hazeton vs 52 miles shorter, no tolls, and 1.5 hrs faster. Soooo now I wait for paperwork to be fixed If its done at the same pace then I should have it by 1700 tonight

 

Now you see what I was talking about a week or so ago. It's bad enough when the paperwork is correct the first time. It justs adds more time to cross and adds to the many reasons I don't like going to Canada. The PARS bar was better as far as time to the driver. Now you wait on both sides of the border who h really SUXS

 

I'M Sitting in Orange Tx I thought del was for Wed at 0700 but It's not till Thur which is ok since I
Have under 2 hrs on my 70. So I guess I will try to enjoy the good ole Flying J. Buy the way the last post It should have read "which suxs" not who h. This auto type thing is a big help at times and a pain in the butt sometimes.

 

I left OKC last Tue going Bach for Fathers day and Dentist appt. If you don't mind me asking why are you going from owner to company The reason I asked I was just pondering the idea of going from company to owner with Conway. you can send PM if you would rather post it that way. Thanks

 

Laredo TX....guess all the trucks are in the northeast cause the is only three truck in Laredo today...lots loads headed out ....too bad we can't pull three at a time lol!!!

Going to head back to Franklin KY...according to the pre-plan

 

Beaverdam, OH. Gotta be up at 2300 to have breakfast and head to Findlay, OH by 0100 to take the load to Roanoke, VA and drop by 1300. Gonna be a long day.
