Before anyone bothers to be UNeducated by safety on manhatten this week at the safety meeting realize the not often enforced truth about NYC deliveries and our trucks. LEGALY reguardless of what the company says we CAN NOT be in any of the 5 boroughs of the city and can get written a substantial ticket for being there if the cop is having a bad day.

Before someone jumps all over me see the link provided it is spelled out quite clearly where we CAN and CAN NOT be with zero room for confusion.

We've seen where they've been doing inspections but have passed closed stations or gotten a green light.

Honestly not a big deal to do it but when the company starts talking about Manhatten deliveries (I know we do some) I would refuse.big slow trucks and impatient rich people with good lawyers/paying high taxes don't mix and you know #### well the company will stand behind you until you need them and the. You will be a sacrificial lamb to appease whomever. I do queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, LI, and don't bat an eye unless I see it's in a nicer area (Manhatten, Huntington, Astoria, etc) then I have reservations. To be fair if your in and out between midnight-0400 it isn't even blinked at USUALLY.

Here is another link that goes in to more serial as to exact laws just incase anyone wants the reason 48' trailers also wouldn't work.

I was wondering about the pay with that.....not that I live in Texas. But, seems like a good deal, it might be ok. I just hope it isnt mileage pay. Seems like you couldnt count on many miles, just alot of sitting and waiting. Would be great for a Texan if it were a salaried or hourly position.

Bot sure but the guys I see in Hazleton, PA that work for other companies doing it all get the same mileage but between $75 & $125 a stop as well and it averages out ok from what they are saying
