Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Thanks Paul_4lp My husband is the only one that drives and when he talked to Nathan he said all KW Studio Sleepers and Petes were for teams and the Volvos were for Trainers. He was # 15 on Monday waiting for a truck but they got some in today so now we're down to #5. Hopefully we'll get one tomorrow

 

Sitting at petro in Pa. I'm done trying to get pm's done on the road. From now on its Joplin or don't get done. It's always an ordeal and I'm not a mechanic and don't pretend to be but I know not everything is being done like it suppose to be.

 

I know a lot of drivers don't like our shop in Joplin but I have more faith in them then these guys on the road.

 

talked to a new Hire from Crete today in Lawrenceville Ga Freight terminal,,seems he will have "issues" after pulling yet his first load and was getting his second,,seems he "requires" at least 3000 miles to"(thats why he left Crete)just be able to pay my bilz",,said the "guy" at orientation said we would get rich over here at CWTL,,he seemed more worried to call his new FM(and use my phone in process),I said they got a phone in there(pointing at terminal building) dont think he wanted to make the walk,IDK,,well he got a Conway relay to stage at Petro,,I explained what he had to do,,of coarse he said they never said anything about this to him,,"hey can I use your phone" again he replied,,said he didnt sign on to do "regional work" he was a OTR(insert my eyeroll here,LOL)

then when I pulled his trailer out of the lot he flagged me down,wanted to know why I was pulling it to Orlando and not him,,I said again,,IDK,I just do what they say(btw he was going to Orlando COnway,so either way he was going to Orlando,and he made out,as I had to stretch out the appt to 4 am friday),,

COme and Go,,I love to hear from new people,,,okay my Conway "commmunity Service" for this week is done,,,LOL you cats have a great day,,and remember if you back into something,Get out and Look,dont back up AGAIN to see if you knocked it out of your way

 

Upstate NY picking up a load going to Laredo, after the "Night Crew" screwed with me and cost me a series of great pre-plans. My FM is still perplexed as to why they did it. I am starting to really dislike the show "dispatching after dark".

 

Sitting in Roland, OK. Was in Laredo yesterday and made it to Pearsall, TX before we stopped for the night. Going to Springdale, AR with this load and we're already pre-planned for a load from there to Joplin. It's almost time....

 

So I've been with CWTL for about 3 months now, just never posted on this forum. I'm in Birmingham, AL at the J about to do a 0400 delivery. Then off to Shreveport.

Plainfield, IN at the furthest west customer Ive been to repetedly at Conway. Parked over night here, emptied at 0500 and am still sitting first on the board I expect something in the next 1/2 hour or so when the rest of the company (Joplin) starts their early work day. Miles are a touch off this week but 1 good run for the weekend and it will be an ok paycheck.

Latest gripe is reimbursements. Incase someone from the company reads this I'm not a bank! I cross the border not in Detroit about 3-5 times a week and each up and back is a min. of $21.50 and as high as $39 so payroll just getting "caught up" to 5/17 doesn't cut it. I added it up and as of right now the company owes me roughly $162.75 it's getting mildly annoying and I'm wondering if I can start refusing Canada dispatches until I get atleast $81 or half of what they owe.

 

Yeah it took three weeks to get my $18 San Fran bridge toll back...I avoid any out of pocket exp ESP. Tolls...I'll run back roads of FL before having to fork out $40...other advise ..when needing a CAT scale go to a fuel stop ..Pilot for example fuel up and put u need additives so it work run automatically ...then go scale out going inside after and tell them to add the scale charge to your fuel ticket. I've never put in a reimbursement for a scale.

 

Sitting in kansas city KS waiting for a brownie load to ATL...not sure what kinda load we can get to FL on Saturday but well be on the board by 0400 am ...anyone ever get a weekend Conway del to FL?
