sounds like the AC might need recharging. Mine i only idle high occassionally to get some oil throw a little more. Other than that low idle has worked all day.

 

Well I guess I'm gonna do my pretrip, and head on down to Orange

 

Is that a pro star? I had two different ones do that...The first one did a couple of days in the shop. The 2nds one started it the day I turned it in to go on medical leave. Seem like a common problem. When it works though, it is great.

 

Sitting in Orange, TX till I deliver monday morning.

 

I'm sitting at fly j in Orange. I'm departing at 22:00 to continue on to Laredo.

 

Sitting in La Grange Ga at the Pilot for my 10 hour brake and it's 111 F currently.

 

Sitting in the Jopmo lounge after having spent a very toasty day switching trucks. Now in a T660 with mah name on it. LoL

 

Yard I am probably sitting behind you. I'm on the back row and see 3 other Conway trucks at the moment lol.

 

Yeah it's a Prostar, called road service to find out where we could take it, last night the air was great and when we left Vernon Texas this afternoon to head to Edgewood NM it was still blowing great and about half way to Amarillo it starts going in and out, still not sure if it's just because it's so hot outside or what, gonna have it looked at Monday in Gallup I believe after we deliver the second half of our load

 

Chrindy, that sounds like what my AC was doing before it stopped working all together. turned out there was a rock had gone through evaporator so it was losing freon as well as pressure. It would work for a little while then not work worth a ######. Bout to have to fire the truck up to idle. Temp isn't bad, but humidity is killer.
