100+ degrees outside of Atlanta.
Weekend reset.
Heat is brutal, too hot to do much of anything outside the confines of this truck.
Watched the Jimmy Norton special last night on Epix

The humidity here is what's making it not so nice. I should go to walmart but don't want to be out in the heat. lol

 

88° with 64% humidity, great index of 101° currently withan expected high temp of 96

 

94* feels like 98* with 40% humidity and expected high of 100.

Glad I'm not in NC right now though. 103* feels like 117* with 45% humidity and expected temp of 105*

 

Ron & Fez are my favorite. Wished they would replay it after the O&A replay.

106 degrees with 108 heat index, projected high of 107. 111 according to dash. no clouds, no breeze.
Wanted to stroll up to Wal-mart, but not making that trek.
APU can barely keep things cool. Have to supplement with brief periods of high speed idling.
Usually try to plan a reset around a area I can get out and do something, see a movie, rent a car.
My excitement of the day was the waffle at the Huddle House, prefer Waffle House, but that involved walking.

 

Bought a microwave egg poacher gadget at Wal-mart. (3 bucks)
Takes 2 eggs, 1/2 tspn of water, 1.5 minutes in microwave
Perfect poached eggs.

 

J.K. has more miles backing a truck, then you'll have driving one.
One of the most experienced F.M.'s up there.

 

I love a good poached egg, perfect poached egg for me would be white completely done and yellow running goodness when break into it !!! That's what I order when stop Petro I get the 1pd ham and eggs, which yes is alot of meat but I get it manly because it's cheaper then ordering an extra egg, I get my 3 eggs cut a small portion of the ham for myself then treat my puppies to the rest, there are times tho I do just order the regular meal, husband prefers the southern sausage biscuit meal.
