Still in Carthage, Finisher was in KC but just got off the phone with him and says there routing him to Michigan, UUUGGGHHH. He sounds like a cool guy hope I dont loose him, well we'll see?

 

My patience was tested for 9 or 10 days waiting for a trainer. Several drivers that went thru boot camp the week AFTER I did went out before I finally did. Just have to remind yourself that this company Is worth the wait to get started with. Doesn't mean we have to like it.

 

xlsdraw good luck on your hazmat. does conway pay you for waiting 9 days for a trainer? i would call that a definate layover!

 

Well we are back on the road now.

Got a load yesterday that picled up in Carlisle, PA and we delivered it near Chicago this AM. Picked up a load tonight headin down to Waco.

Thanks. The test said you could miss 6 out of the 30 meaning you had to get 24 correct. The Test ended after the 24th question so I reckon I didn't miss any. Still can take up to a month for the State of Florida to complete the background check and mail out the new license. Yes my long stint in the Joplin Holiday Inn ended up paying $300.00 in layover pay. But You'd much rather be getting on with things than sitting stationary.

 

I was suprised my Hazmat came in the mail within 12 days.

 

Finished orientation today thank God. It was a lot more difficult then i was expecting. But, i leave tomorrow to pick up truck in NC 2010 t-660 kw so if anybody is in that type of truck i would like your feed back
