Well, I am still up here in the wonderful NorthEast and hating every minute of it. Why is it that all the appointments I get are for the evening time, then I spend hours and hours at the appointment, and have to go and find a place to park when the very little places available to park are all full? And everywhere I go is hours and hours away from any available truck parking to begin with. No Parking signs are in surplus up here. NorthEast :smt072

Wally Dist Marcy NY....waiting on paperwork, the only place around here to park is on the pike, and I am sure by now it is full...it only has maybe 20 spots.

 

Wound up at the consignee for 5 hours before they were done with me. Woohoo, detention pay. LoL! Then spent the rest of the day at the rest area off x106 on I95. Finally got a load heading out. Picked up a heavy one going from FL to IL. Now I'm at a Pilot off I75.

 

Wulfwynn we might pass each other on I-75 tomorrow. Just look for the rig with a lot of antennas lol.

 

Have to pick up in Houston, Texas, and [FONT=lucida grande, tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif]going to [/FONT]Albuquerque, New Mexico by Friday.​

 

FINALLY we have our truck 15 days in Albuquerque, we almost had to sit for another night, somehow the wrong part got into the valve box (the part we needed) and of course no one it town had the right part, so after 4 hrs of sitting there they find out that they have all the parts we needed waiting for another truck that was going to be sitting there awhile, so we got those parts and 1 hr later we are now in our truck sitting at Flying j waiting to grab a local relay load. YEAH US !!!! lol have a great evening everyone

 

Welcome back to trucking Chrindy lmao. As for me, I just had a delicious Tex-Mex meal at El Chico. I am sitting behind the Tractor Supply store in Marshall, TX and chilling till 0700 in the morning. This is one of the easiest backs to hit their dock, I just have to wait till they get here to open the gate in the morning.

Could have started my day later but "had to get to CON" for 0800 even though we had till 1600 to del. so like a good little boy I headed out at 0200 and got here at 0745 my reward.... Being told I'm #1 on board so not to move but they are not sure when a load will come over the QC, the best part, it's 82 w/ 78% humidity and you're not allowed to idle here. If people are getting short runs/ low miles why are we still actively hiring inexperienced drivers?!? That is a stumper. Maybe I'll see you today WOLFY7208 depending which way I head and you head. I'm 4hrs down I90 in Dunkirk, NY
