Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Sitting in Joplin, waiting on next student to get finished with orientation and onto the truck. Hopefully, out of here Thurs morn.

On the 7th if next month I go to Joplin, they're taking Zoomer away from me

 

Still in the wonderful NorthEast.....Went to pick up a load in Vt at Omya, and the stupid trailer needs to get fixed before I can roll, but then I am outta here to Indiana. LoneWolf, I put your name in the mix as an alternate for me anytime I have to come up here again. The load will be diverted from my qualcomm to yours automatically from now on, regardless of where you are, where you are supposed to be, or even if you are on hometime....LOL.

 

I waved at all the conway trucks I saw. Mine doesn't stand out much yet short of my name on the door.

You hoping for a prostar or 660? and gonna put your name on it?

I don't understand why we have drivers waiting on a trk. On the daily report they always have 90 plus trucks with no drivers. I think today it was over 100. Yet about once a week a new hire is waiting on a truck. Countryboy I agree is miles are short why still hiring. But again those no driver trks still have monthly lease payments due every month.

 

I'm sitting just north of Kansas City heading to Laredo. As for my miles I'm still averaging 2500 a week and I'm happy with that. I love the 3000 plus weeks but they come only so often. My year here at Conway has been better than any company I've been with. If we only had APU and get our tag axles converted to another drive axle is be a very happy driver. Nite all be safe.

I asked the shop about that. The daily report gets their numbers from the trucks that don't have drivers. The problem is that not all of those trucks are Ready for a driver to be in them. Most of them need repairs and at least a good interior detail. The truck assignment guy (I forget which one) showed me the reports he has vs how the daily report sees the numbers. So, while we have the enough trucks, they just can't get them ready fast enough.

 

Wolfy, I am Texas dedicated. I don't have to deal with that other BS. Tonight I am sitting in northeast Texas (Graham to be specific) in dock at a TSC store. Had to serpentine back to get in the dock, but wasn't too bad. Tomorrow I pick up going to Laredo.
