Sitting in the middle of nowhere Mississippi, not sure this is even a truck stop. Oh well....just a head's up. I got a call yesterday from someone at the company asking my opinion on my APU(yes I am lucky and have one). They were asking all kinds of questions about how it was working out and keeping the truck cool and such. Made me think they were reconsidering starting to put APU's on more trucks. Hopefully they do. I couldnt imagine not having one now.

I'd love to have an APU on mine. I hate having to idle but I can't sleep if it's hot.

I'm at a Flying J x226 on 44. Making my way to Joplin to get a reset while on this load and didn't have the hours to make it there tonight. Load doesn't del til mon at 0700.

Cool!!! Didn't need to call customer to get rid of this load early. My FM (she rocks) threw a relay in the load so I dropped it at Freight in orlando, heading to Ft. Myers in a few hours. Coming back out on Aug 6. Have fun in Canada.

Most drivers are like you in going the extra mile. But, I had a bad run lately. 21 days out, 4 bad trailers and my truck broke. Luckily, no long waits when I got the trailers fixed.

Those of you that drop bad trailers, it only takes a few minutes and they are tracking who dropped the bad trailer so do it right.

    Be safe you all.

Off of US 61 Just north of cleveland at what I thought was a truck stop, but turns out it is a convenience store with a trucking company in the back. I pulled in and noticed the names on all the trucks and trailers were the same. Turns out I am parked in a yard of another company....LOL. Oh well, I will just play dumb. No one has said anything and if they wont tell, I wont. Besides I am straight up out of hours until 0300.

They finally got me a truck, but it is in Jacksonville and the transportation lady is being a pain to get in touch with.

Yeah, we get a few beauties in our terminals, but I prefer our terminals over a truckstop anywhere as far as sight seeing goes.

Sitting 15 minutes from the Lancaster yard on I45 at the Loves. I ran out of hours on my 14 just short of being able to make it there. Running a relay heading to Pocatello, ID. So if you get this load tonight (and read the board) I apologize for the bad planning when I told them from the start this is likely the furthest I would get back on it.

As far as bad trailers go, I keep a couple extra sets of lights, and my emergency air kit so I can inflate any tires I get (about 90% of them) if needed. People need to invest in a tire gauge!
