    Never heard of letter of release. Was it bonded or is that something seperate? Seems it is all part of PARS, ACI, Bonded loads from what I could find. I would chalk it up to the broker screwing something up

    Yeah customer bond...A22 manifest we were told was all we would need to clear customs .......I had a bad feeling about BC since picking up in Dallas lol...

    I-5 ex 99 tumwater WA...

    I started to type something in, and I decided to back up. Monday morning I went to Ogden, Utah's Truck and Trailer Repair. I had to get a mud flap on the driver's side of the trailer. They put my rubber mud flap on the trailer, I went back there to inspect the mud flap. It seemed like it was in a good spot. I get to the Ontario, Oregon Weigh Station, and they ask to see all of the paperwork thinking to myself. Okay, there are doing this to everyone. The officer tells me that I am missing a mud flap on the trailer, and I politely tell the officer at the weigh station, I just got that fixed in Ogden, Utah, and I told him where it was fixed at. At this point, he is printing me up a citation for missing mud flap. Thinking to myself, are you kidding me? Thinking to myself, is he that desperately needing money for doughnuts. I was polite the whole time, I had to go a second time to get another mud flap put on the trailer in Baker City, Oregon. The more I think about it, I got madder than Janet Reno going out on a blind date with a man.

    That is pretty scummy of that D.O.T. officer, but what can we expect?

    Sounds as bad as our CA Day.... 24 mi from border took 11 hours ....7 of those sitting at either CA or US Customs....to make it even worse ...they finished unloading our TRL in Vancover and never let us know ...just had us sit there ...finally went back (long walk I know!! Lol) and lOOKed...

    Ok new day....time to go pick up our load to TX

    Well last nights load canceled, I got to relay point of new load all looks good EXCEPT original driver kept first BOL From the 1st stop on a 3 stop PU and final delivery. Not moving till I get originals since I need to have customs broker approve all product on board..not just some. WTF are drivers thinking now that they take part of the shipping papers that are REQUIRED to be signed by CON and be in possession of the driver pulling the load by DOT.

    Ok not Happy ...load to TX cancelled ...new load out of Portland p/u at 0500 pdt tomorrow ....that's five days about 2500 mi ...feel like a super solo instead of a team ...they better get the #2 together !!
