Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Sitting in NC #2 on the board but only 3 loads in the area I know of they let me take that actually go back to my region. Maybe they will surprise me and have me PU a Texas run to relay w/ someone in Alabama. Who knows; had huge windows on delivery times all week worst I've done is 9 hrs before ETA kinda wondering if we hit the end of summer slump.

Still broke down in Kansas City, Misery. Truck is in the shop. They are still working on it, and they have not even done the annual DOT inspection. Politely, I ask my FM if I could come to Joplin to get all of this done, and the FM instructed me to come to Kansas City to get everything done. All of this could have been done if they would have let me come to Joplin. Weighing out the pros and cons, the fastest way this could have been accomplished was for me to come to Joplin. Never will be able to understand the logic behind this. Everyone have a wonderful and safe day out there.

At the love's I 55 exit 220. Gonna head out soon to del 20 miles in morris il. Walmart on the way lol. Last nite I seen one of our trucks 30930 come in here doing about 25 mph everyone on cb said slow the f down. Just saying if I see you guys doing this it not only makes u look bad but the rest of us. Look at Odessa tx a trucker ran over another one going to fast. Don't let this be con way.... Slow ur butts down its not a race.

 

Agreed man. I saw a Crete driver yesterday whip into the truck stop in Clinton, SC doing 20 and blow a trailer tire on the curb. Guy gets out with sweat pants and super trucker headset screaming and cussing. Good luck explaining that to maintenance.

Depebds on the economy but usually slow down from JAN-MAR/APR then another slowdown end of summer around AUG-mid/end of SEPT. the rest of the times is either gear up for summer or gear up for Chriatmas/Holiday season. Who knows though due to economy it has been all jacked up the last few years.

Also it's dependent on where you are. Regions w/ high manufacturering don't swing as much since raw materials are always needed for production and regions that are retail/service economies can get huge swings as most freight will be retail goods vs. raw materials.
