I asked to be home on a weekend rather then the middle of the week.

 

Hmm yeah south TX seems to be lacking freight ...how far are you from home? I guess your request cancelled out the 8th day we'll deadhead u home thing...good luck to u! I know how it is sitting all weekend...I did it 3 out of 4 near Taylor...

Best reset yet was at 61 hrs left on my 70

 

I'm about 400 miles from home. They tried to send me home on a Tuesday and I called and asked to go home closer to Friday so I could at least make some pay for the week as I only had 400 miles since Sunday, he got snippy.
Thursday morning I was 40 miles from home but they sent me her instead. But no lay over because I'm dispatched on a load coming in from Mexico some time this year, was supposed to have been here Saturday.

 

Yeah I have noticed when you say you want to be home at what the consider a "specific time"; anytime Wed - Sat for me that they get real pissy. I'm in the NE and the still take issue with it even though we have 5 customers totalling 8 loads A NIGHT that get me w/ in 150 mi not counting anything going to Montreal, QC does the same. I don't get it but I've given up trying, Aparently "Please get me home on one of these 4 days out of a 7 day week" (60% shot if they blindly pick loads) is to much to ask for.

 

U got the record! 14 day highlight is my personal best. I'm stuck in Houston with 5u left on my 70. No. 4 on the board. Yes Ha!

Was told that it's not a radio station and he doesn't take request and I would get home when I get home. It's getting to be almost like working for Swift.

 

What is going on down there in Joplin? All I do is sit anymore. (past 3 weeks) Just about ready to pack it in. I guess I must have been blacklisted or something. Anybody else getting some really low miles?
