Well I go up to ask if my truck is ready, he says "yes but let me ask, did you chose this truck over the one they had ready for you already?" I said "no, I didn't know there was another one ready, or I wouldn't have given up my load." Apparently they had a brand new 660 with 15 miles on it for me that was ready when I got here :/

Sat in Joplin for 2.5 days. Got a load going to Waco, Texas. Dropped in Waco 5 hours before my appointment time. Now, they give me a load going to Edmond, Oklahoma, the load does not pick up until tomorrow afternoon at 1600 hours, and I have been here at the Pilot since 1800 hours yesterday. Collectively, I have been more than patient to be run a little harder. 2 weeks of low miles. The bills do not stop coming in, just because they are not running the driver. My question is: What do I have to do get more miles? Not going to beg for them, and I don't brown nose, so if that is what they are looking for, then, they have the wrong driver. I am here just like the rest of us, and make money. My wife and I were looking at the direct deposits. She said, "I would be better off to work somewhere close to home, and make more money". Starting to believe that. Talk to my fleet manager in person about getting more miles, my fleet manager's reply was, "We need to put miles on your truck. You are really low on your miles for the month". Thinking to myself, "No kidding". That pre-plan has not been acknowledged. Waiting until in the morning, to talk to someone about more miles.

Its just been slow. It was that way this time last year. Seasonal perhaps? Relax. Had two restarts in two weeks and didn't get near 2500 miles so just didn't need to restart. This week, 2400 and some change...that's better, pretty soon, will be over 3000 and wishing for a break to do laundry and buy groceries...Relax.
