My only question I have is, why did I not get an email update when others have posted? After all, is this not a Con-way thread of discussion. As far as to the situation regarding the home-time, that should have been handled appropriately. It should have been planned by the FM ahead of time. Realizing, the FM has more than one driver, but this driver was going home, with him having to wait such a long period of time. There should be in fact some compensation for him.

Fot those that are curious about miles with Conway. I had 126,000 paid miles in my first year. I took a 10 day vacation. I stay out 3 weeks them go home 3-4 days. So as you can see you can get miles here but the key is to make sure you p/u and del on time EVERYTIME. If there's even a chance that I will be cutting it close I let FM know Like accidents or this last Fri I was sitting for 30 mins not moving in a construction zone. I had 14 min to to spare when I got to del. When your miles aren't what you think they should be call FM just my 2 cents

There are no parkin spots in Laredo.. I get 7 hours tonite and they want me to do two locals...
-
if there is no parking then I am guessing there are alot of people on the board. Run the couple of locals and shouldn't use more than 1 hour of your 70 if you're quick on the change of duty. It won't mess up your spot on the board, and it will USUALLY encourage the local dispatch to "bump" you onto a load earlier.
