Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Joplin .....Inspection bay & trk wash is staying open later than 7pm ..??

truck wash turned me away...

why is it always on Sat 8pm when u need cash ...the Conway ATM is broken???? Grrrrr

forgot ...two new things seen in Lancaster ...2013 Frieghtliner looked really sweet!!! & I saw a trailer tail on one trl headed out the gate

Looks can be deceiving.The new Freightliners are bare bones. To the point they comprised safety to save a buck.Not nearly the same truck as previous Freightliner models were Even deleted half the interior lights.

 

I will say the on guard front facing radar crash avoidance is a far better system than that bendix one in Kenworth

 

Mine has gone off twice for a hard brakin....once going under an overpass ...one for a sign....
and I think the target has to be moving for it to reconize it...as in a car sitting at a traffic light...

and anything new-ish catches my eye lol....I didn't get to see it up close lol

 

I will partially retract I asked for and received upon my return, a mirror above my passenger door window.Freightliners have a ultra bad blind spot by right door.And the mirror was deleted.I kinda wish freightliner would have a peep window on right side, and a drop in lower main window frame like KW.I did ask for, but did not receive the wingman blindspot radar, I liked that in my temp KW.

 

Yeah, that temp KW had lane departure warning system, that couldn't tell if I was on or off the road.The bendix crash avoidance foward radar falsed at every overpass and overhead road sign.It's following distance time was way off from reality, by 1 or 2 seconds.The "On Guard" system that's in the Freightliner measures in true radar fashion.I know the vehicle speed and how many feet ahead, up to 450 foot.I can tell closure rates, and less intrusive.Will still kick cruise off, apply brakes or engine brake, but only if I'm NOT taking action.That Bendix system thought it was smarter than the driver.

 

Joplin HQI know its know of the drivers that post in this forum.But really, your mommy doesn't work on the facilities staff.Pick your towels, floor mats, half used bars of soap up.Hate to see the inside of the truck you drive.Oh yeah, if you can hit the toilet, your obviously not as big as you think, move closer, or sit like a girl.

 

Yeah my 13' pro star has on guard ...it's cool as long as I'm not on snow
