Giving up my load going to Laredo cuz im not breaking any laws getting it there. I do not have a Tanker endorsement on my CDL. As of jan 1 2013 u need a tanker Endorsement to haul BULK LIQUID over 1,000 gallons. i will not risk putting my CDL on the line for this load. sitting at a flying j waiting on them to find someone that can haul this load. Drivers this is a warning if u ever go and pick up those big cubes of liquid if its over 1,000 gallons dont take it. You can get in some serious trouble if u are stopped and do not have a tanker Endorsement. You will get an OOS violation + prob go to jail for hauling stuff ur not aloud too.. PLEASE COVER YOUR BUTTS.... Con-way did work with me on this after the 2nd go around after i called DOT themselfs to check it some of the safety people are off there game their so i hope this is a wake up call for them to get on same page Least the 2nd time i had no problems and my FM keept saying sorry and so on and so on. Problem was solved before i had to take it to other steps though

My understanding is that there is another thing to be aware of -- ibc's filled with flammable liquids totalling 500 gallons or more are subject to a 10 hour limit on drive time (49 cfr 395.1 http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/cdl_htm/sec8.htm).

still it is an easy test to add the tanker endorsement. Until then, more good loads for me

Not unless you were on the load from ks to tx that I repowered sat/sun. Im currently headed from TX to the NW -- should be interesting hitting weather for the first time with super singles & tag axle...

Weather SUCKED in Vermont last night, 3-6" in some spots and was snowing heavy in White River Jcnt. Made it to NJ just fine, found new hiding spot in S. Brunswick, NJ.
