Our wheels are almost buried to the rim on snow. Hope I can get out tomorrow.

welp, had to raise the white flag and call road service. Pretty humiliating, I've been driving in Sierra & Cascade snow for 15 years and even in the worst spots, I'd always been able to dig myself out, chain, and slowly make tracks... But here I sit stuck in a flat parking lot with literally 2" of snow & other trucks breezing by right & left.

I chained, I dug out the snow, I locked the diff, I dumped the air to the tag, I tried off-road mode -- no dice. Best I ever could muster is rocking 6"forward & back.

My 14 is spent, I'm wet, muddy, & exhausted -- I just told the tow guy on the phone to come in the morning so I could shower & sleep before dealing with it.

Know what's sick? I still love this job

Would rather lose safety bonus than get fired cause that guy said he never wanted to see me there again.
