Just wanted to give you all an update My husband Chris is doing a lot better been moved from ICU to a regular room, they have him on blood liners to help prevent more clots from forming. I just wanna say I know it hard sometimes being a truck driver but please make sure u are walking often because you never know we never did expect it to happen to us, THANKS EVERYONEVFOR THE PRAYERS !!!

Was this a result of deep vein thrombosis like the tennis player, Serena Williams, had? Could you please tell us a little more. Thank you.

 

They're not really sure what caused it,they found no clots in his legs,also other then having sleep apnea he no health problems, they say its probably a combination of being a truck,smoker and overweight, we both have been trying to lose weight and also he has quit smoking since November, he's been using a Vapor wand to help quit. This all happen within a week. He had a rough cough and was having trouble catching his breath. What he has is called Pulinary Embolism

Looks like my husband is not going to have to give up driving !!! The dr put him on a new drug that will allow him to drive OTR and he will not have to go and have blood drawn every 2 weeks. Thanks to everyone for keeping him in your prayers !!

 

thats great news! now i want you both to stop smoking it dont help being a trucker! im glad he is ok
